In retirement, after a 42-year career as an elementary school teacher, Laura has “resurrected” her love of acting! She has had opportunities in both film and on stage. She also mentors future teachers for George Fox University’s School of Education.  She has two adult children and two sweet little granddaughters whom she visits in NC as often as she can.

The highlight of each week is Laura’s involvement with The Actor’s Lab, an acting class led by the amazing Kristina Haddad. Here she has become part of a close knit community of actors who work together to push themselves in challenging and life-changing ways. The opportunity to collaborate with these friends in The Great Divide feels like such a perfect way to reflect the respect they  have for each other.
